Aber es fasziniert nicht nur die reine Existenz von Sprichwörtern, sondern vielmehr ein Vergleich diverser. Denn vergleicht guy verschiedene Sprichwörter, unterschiedlichster Sprachen miteinander, so sieht guy, dass die Bedeutung sinngemäßer Sprichwörter speedy überall die gleiche ist.

Eine Fragestellung die sich für diesen Themenbereich anbieten würde, ist: „Wie lässt sich das Verhältnis zwischen Mann und Frau auf dem Balkan – im speziellen in Bulgarien – durch die Interpretation eines Sprichwortes verallgemeinern?“

Dabei soll es nicht nur zu einer formalen oder stilistischen Interpretation eines Sprichwortes aus diesem Bereich kommen, sondern auch zu einer inhaltlichen Interpretation. Es spielen sowohl historische Gegebenheiten wie auch „balkantypische Gewohnheiten“ eine große Rolle, welche sicherlich näher zu betrachten sein werden. Bevor allerdings auf das Wesentliche – die Sprichwortanalyse – eingegangen wird, werden zunächst eventuelle Unklarheiten im Bezug auf Sprichwörter geklärt. Desweiteren sei noch darauf hingewiesen, dass im weiteren Verlauf der examine ein weiteres Sprichwort, vielleicht sogar mehrere bulgarische Sprichwörter hinzugezogen werden, diese aber ausschließlich vergleichenden Zwecken dienen.
